Black pepper Chicken but can substitute with soya nuggets
Ingredients
2 Chicken breast cut into bite size cubes ( or soya nuggets)
Cup and half of shallots - finely chopped
2 green chili peppers finely chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ginger paste -can use fresh finely chopped
1 tsp garlic paste - or finely chopped cloves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp salt
5 tsp black pepper..grind your own..can’t beat the smell and taste
Heat oil Sauté onions
Add everything but the chicken
Mix well Add chicken pieces and mix gently (a bit of tlc..never hurt anyone)
Add enough water to cover the chicken pieces but this can vary dependent on how/what you’re eating it with..for rice..cover till it covers the chicken; naan..a bit less
Cover and cook on high till it boils
Simmer until the oil separates Add curry leaves and fresh cilantro (optional)
Taste and add more peppers if you like( at this point if you add more peppers then you are my hero!
