Zindagi means Life, and I strongly believe that living life to the fullest and making every moment count is the way to achieve pleasure.
I’m all about the pursuit of happiness, be it via food, drink, travelling, comfort and other luxuries. Life passes us by in the blink of an eye and we should enjoy it as much as possible.
Being a trader for a world-class financial institution has allowed me to discover myself and grow my experience. I have the opportunity to enjoy the best food and drink in the best restaurants around the world, travel to wild and beautiful destinations and make lifelong friends.
Which brings us to 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic. Once again I am grateful to be able to continue to work from home. Working from home has opened my eyes to a whole new world - I went from being a trader to a trader who can put together amazing meals for my friends and family! Not only did I discover that I can cook, but I actually enjoy it as much as I enjoy going out to restaurants and travelling, I’m blessed (some would say spoiled) to have a great life and I feel now it’s time to share my experiences, knowledge and lust for life with as many people as I can.
My mom would have been extremely proud of me and being a strong Indian woman would have said “It’s about time!” but of course, better late than never. That being said…I wonder who started spoiling me first?! Being the youngest of 4 children, I got away with a lot. There was always someone older to do the not so fun stuff, and I was allowed to “explore” as I’d like to call it! Who knew that just by watching my mom and my sisters in the kitchen, lovingly preparing meals for the family that I would actually learn the basic fundamentals and how to incorporate my own style to make it my own.
